Наша школа већ четврту годину за редом 14. марта обележава Међународни данм атематике, као и Дан броја Пи (π). Наставница математике Јелена Марић је тим поводом организовала тематски дан посвећен математици, али и броју Пи (π). У првом делу дана ученици наше школе такмичили су се у меморисању децимала броја π. Најбоље резултате имале су ученице
Софија Драгићевић и Магдалена Вујашанин са запамћених 103 децимала броја π.
Друго и треће место освојили су ученици Александар Милетић и Софија Милутиновић.
У наставку дана наши ученици су показали велику заинтересованост и у значајном броју су присуствовали радионицама посвећеним математици. Ученици су на креативан начин представили децимале броја π правећи наруквице и огрлице. Слушали смо ученикешестог и седмог разреда који изводе музику инспирисану бројем π. Ученици осмог разреда организовали су предавање о историјату броја Пи и занимљивостима везаним за овај бесконачни број. Кроз различите активности учинили смо математику забавном и интересантном. Захваљујемо се свим учесницима математичких радионица, такмичења у меморисању броја π, као и свима који су учествовали у обележавању Међународног дана математике у нашој школи.
